Vampire PRP Facial

What are the benefits of the Vampire Facial?

Wondering what all the fuss is about when it comes to a Vampire Facial? The Vampire Facial is a great cosmetic injectable treatment for naturally rejuvenating the skin and repairing the signs of aging.

A Vampire Facial involve reinjecting your own platelet rich plasma into your skin, delivering an abundance of growth factors that stimulate the body’s normal healing response, helping you to achieve total rejuvenation.

Here are five reasons you should give it a try:

1. PROVIDES TOTAL REJUVENATION

A Vampire Facial stimulates collagen and elastin production which thickens and tightens thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Because it boosts collagen, it’s also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone. It’s particularly good for people who suffer from rosacea or acne.

2. TREATS DELICATE AND DIFFICULT TO REACH AREAS

A Vampire Facial is extremely effective for treating difficult to treat areas, such as the delicate under eye area where clients often notice signs of aging first but where no laser can be used.

3. IT’S A NATURAL TYPE OF COSMETIC INJECTABLE

A Vampire Facial uses your own natural elements without the addition of any foreign products. The treatment works by drawing a small sample of your blood, which is then spun in a centrifuge for approximately ten minutes to separate the plasma from the other blood particles. The platelet rich plasma is then microneedled or reinjected back into the treatment area to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

4. IT’S SAFE

Because it uses your own natural elements, a Vampire Facial is very safe. It’s also not a new treatment. It’s long been recognized and used in the hospital system and in sports medicine for its effective wound healing properties since the 1970s.

5. RESULTS ARE LONG-LASTING

Results from Vampire Facial take between three to four weeks to appear but are long-lasting, typically lasting 12 to 18 months after an initial series of two to three treatments.

Am I a good candidate for a Vampire Facial?

The Vampire Facial is effective and safe for most skin types and is ideal for clients of any age.

The best candidates for a Vampire Facial are people who want a natural approach to rejuvenating the skin. This treatment uses your cells, making it an autologous procedure. Because of this, it is a good option for people prone to allergic reactions to dermal fillers. Vampire Facials may not be suitable for those with a history of blood diseases. For these clients, it is highly recommended to explore other non-invasive treatments.

How should I prepare for a Vampire Facial?

It is important to maintain good health before your Vampire Facial appointment—after all, the product used for the treatment comes from the patient’s own blood. Stay hydrated, and eat a healthy diet. Get a complete sleep, and avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. Avoid tanning and too much sun exposure. Protect your skin by wearing the correct sunscreen. You may need to avoid blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medications at least a week before the treatment. On the day of your Vampire Facial, do not wear makeup. Do not apply skincare products, and wash your face with mild soap.

What should I expect during a Vampire Facial treatment?

A Vampire Facial treatment begins with extracting a blood sample. This will be processed in a centrifuge, where the platelets and plasma are separated from the other components. It can take 30 minutes for the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to be ready. Once the PRP is ready, any accompanying skincare treatments will be performed, and then the concentrate will be applied to the skin.

Vampire Facial aftercare

  • There is no downtime or recovery time for a Vampire Facial. You can resume your day right after the treatment.

  • Do not wash your skin or expose it to extreme temperatures for at least six hours.

  • Avoid activities that will make you sweat.

  • If your face is swelling, you can apply a cold compress, but make sure it won’t wet your skin.

  • Since the treatment can make your skin sensitive in the first three days, do not exfoliate or use harsh skincare products during this time.
